Mini-vacation #3 - Part 1

(After ABVD)

Last Wednesday, Grandma Great, Judy, and I headed for Blackwater Falls State Park to enjoy a few days in a cabin. On the way through Canaan Valley, the girls decided to stop at the Canaan Resort's pool. As we approached the swimming pool, the Euro Bungee and its attached rock wall were busy. Tis pretty neat to have a rock wall and bungee on wheels!





Grandma Great climbed into the pool along with Judy. I was not far behind. The water temperature in the Canaan pool is always super warm. The temperature is perfect for the geriatric set.





Doesn't Gradma Great look like Ester Williams? Ester is still living. Grandma is the younger of the two at 85. Ester is three years older.

We checked into cabin #5. Judy headed in and opened the cabin. The cabin was great! It was clean and very comfortable.


Grandma Great was excited about this adventure. Canasta games were floating in her thoughts.

Sorry, the canasta games had to wait until the morning. By the time we cooked the hot dogs in the fireplace, we retired to our bedrooms. Part two of this adventure tomorrow.
