4th of July In Shepherdstown

On the 4th of July, Grandma Great went with us to Shepherdstown to see the grandkids. Rachael and John have established a garden on the side of their house and they are really enjoying watching the plants grow. Flora was so proud to pick the first squash of the season for our supper.




Grandma Great was looking down upon the teepee that will be covered after the pole beans and morning glories grow over the structure. It will be a great play place for the girls!

Rachael is showing her Mom the tomatoes. They are also looking great!

Where's Lucy? Oh, here she comes on her bike!

Rachael picked the last of the lettuce for the evening salad. Tomorrow we will look closely at the blooming flowers around the house.
