The Red Rooster
On Sunday we went to a buffet at the new restaurant in Gassaway called The Red Rooster. It was super and we would recommend you try it. It was written up in the Charleston Gazette.

Here is a little trivia about the restaurant. The cook at The Red Rooster is the father of Gordon Ramsay - the British TV Chef who has several current TV programs including Hell's Kitchen and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

Several websites refer to Mr. Ramsay's father as being deceased....
Believe this is his stepdad. I too believe his biological dad is deceased. His biological dad was not a chef, but a swimming pool manager, welder, shopkeeper, and aspiring country and western singer (Wikipedia). Stop by and talk with this gent (whose name I believe is John Schuder - not a Ramsay) at the Red Rooster. He is most interesting and friendly. Thanks for your comment.
I spoke to John Schuder while eating at the Red Rooster a few weeks ago, and he said he was Gordon's biological father, but Gordon was raised by the Ramsay.
