Kid's Day Parade

Judy and I had set up the chairs along the street earlier in the morning so we were ready to enjoy the kids marching in their costumes. They are always super. There are several categories and many include their pets. Beagle power seems cheaper than gasoline these days.

Many entries had a story book theme.

I really chuckled when this baby drank her way down Main Street.

Mom really likes to watch the kids in all their "finery".

Larger floats were a separate category.

Creative skills were evident in this fabric pumpkin. It took quite some work to construct this large vegetable.

Think one of Judy's favorites was the Little Bo Peep and the "Golden Retriever" sheep!
