Flowers on Mill Street

On Saturday I took the ole camera and snapped some photos of the fall flowers outside our Shepherdstown family's house.

I love to incorporate, whenever possible, the blossoms with the insects that are visitng the plant at that particular moment. I loved this cool moth that had the unique wings. I know the Air Force's Research and Development Team would be interested in this design.

Here is my one of my favorite images. This cabbage white butterfly was busily extracting nectar.

The bumble bees and honey bees know also that winter is not too far away!
