Traveling West

On Monday morning we had breakfast with Rach at Betty's Restaurant and then we headed back to West Virginia. The snow was melting. The snowmen in front of The Clarion were slowly returning back to their liquid state.

We stopped by the Visitor Center at Antietam National Battlefield to see if our friend, Clayton Barker, was in the building.
Clayton was not working Monday so we will try again. It has been quite awhile since we toured the Battlefield. Maybe this will be on our Bucket List for the spring.

We did stop by a little bakery in Flintstone, MD - The Alpine Pantry and Bakery. Then, true to our usual routine, we had lunch at Penn Alps in Grantsville, MD.

We arrived at Sarah and Jeff's for another night at their family hostel. This was the evening for trick or treat. Grandma Meads was in charge of placing the eyebrows on the Angry Birds.

Tomorrow - Trick or Treat in Bridgeport. By the way - DO NOT FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS BACK TONIGHT. Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00 A.M. on Sunday.
