WVU Game

Good morning all! This week I will blog our adventure with Jeff, Sarah, Sam, and Nate that occurred on Saturday. We arrived at WVU's Silver Lot around 11 A.M. The Mountaineers were playing Norfolk State University. The boys are always excited on game day. Nate readies his football transport.

We decided that we needed to visit Melanie and Bill who were tailgating in the Blue Lot.

As we walked to the lot, a portion of the WVU band was returning from the man trip. A new aspect of game day is that the football team is dropped off at the corner of Ruby Memorial. They march through the crowd and greet the fans. The team and coaches touch a huge block of coal before entering the stadium.

Melanie and Sarah are great friends. They roomed together when they were in the WVU doctoral program.

Melanie's hubby, Bill, is enjoying a brew.

You know Bill that Bill is a serious WVU fan when you see how he opens his beer bottles.

Tailgating is always a food affair. Friend, Brian, was in charge of the grill.

Tomorrow- The Eer Man!
