The Quilt Show

The Thimbles and Threads Quilt Guild stages a quilt show during the Festival at the United Methodist Church on Main Street. Caren White is one of those talented ladies who does fantastic embroidery and quilting.

I love this hand embroidered red and white quilt made by Jean Stout It took hours and hours of skilled needlework to complete this beautiful piece.

Here is Jean, the lady who created the red and white quilt above. She is, a long time guild member.

Roth Chisler is another of the talented quilters. She is explaining the guild's project, "Quilts For Kids". This project supplies quilts to kids who are ill or who experience a family trauma.

This exhibit is always a feast for the eyes!
