Campfire in The Heat

Flora and Lucy stayed with us while Rach and John went to the rally at Blair Mountain. Grandma Meads decided on Friday that we need to cook hot dogs and make smores. I did try to tell her that is was around 90 degrees outside and we may be having to call 911 for heat exhaustion! Guess who won! I started the fire.

The kids did love the smores and gourmet dogs.


On Sunday, we went to church and then ate lunch at The Common Place. After lunch we took a few pictures at the new city park.


Judy and I met John and Rachael in Burnsville. We hugged the grand kids and the family was then off to Shepherdstown. It was a short visit, but a good one!
