Yep, I was contemplating how wonderful it is that in the spring the ole process of photosynthesis is at work. The green plants are taking carbon dioxide and water and producing glucose (food) and oxygen. Tis an amazing process.
Yesterday I looked around the yard to find the lillies-of-the-valley in full bloom.
You also have to love the aroma of the fragrant lobelia.
What an exciting time! We have been feeding the birds and the usual show up for the meal. Cardinals. tufted titmice, crackles, blue jays, and a variety of other small birds are seen on a daily basis. Our friend, Diana, just emailed and said "I have had a male and female rose breasted grosbeak and an indigo bunting at the feeder." She is rubbing it in that these wonderful feathers critters are appearing at her feeder. I am still looking hoping to see a flamingo, California condor, or an albatros! I shall email Diana as soon as one of these appears at our feeder.
