Flora's 5th Birthday Party

Well, guess that an advantage of being born on Halloween is that almost all folks dress up for your party. Party time was from 4:30 to 6:00. At 6PM and until 8PM the Trick or Treat festivities began on German Street in Shepherdstown. Flora and Mia are protecting the cake so Grandpa will not dip his finger into the cake icing.




Grandma lights the candles and 5 years of age officially begins! Dad John had fixed the meal of hot dogs, macroni and cheese and baked beans. (Flora's request).





At Flora's party there were dragons and princesses..



..and pirates. Mommy is wearing the gown that Dad wore when Lucy came into this world.

Glenda the good fairy from the Wizard of Oz attended along with a flapper from the 20's and a fireman.

You always have to love the small wizards and witches. Tomorrow you will experience the streets of Shepherdstown on Halloween evening.
