Halloween Party at the NCTC

Arriving in Shepherdstown around 2:45 P.M., we took cupcakes to the Halloween party that was being held at Flora's school, The Tree House. The Tree House is located at the National Conservation Training Center located a short distance from Shepherdstown on Shepherd Grade Road. This is a great federal training facility. It is here the eagle's nest that I have discussed in earlier blogs is found. This photo was taken outside the Tree House and shows the nesting site.

The kids at the Tree House are so adorable. Here are some of the kids eating their Halloween goodies.

Around 4 P.M. Flora, Grandma, and I left the NCTC and went to Flora's house for ANOTHER party. When Halloween is your birthday, it seems as if all the world is celebrating your special day. Tomorrow I will post some Flora Birthday party photos and then on Tuesday I will present to you all a special series on how Shepherdstown celebrates this holiday. I call it the Shepherdstown Halloween Mardi Gras extravangaza! It is something to behold.
