Another Garden View

Happy May 1st! Often we forget the beauty of common blossoms in the yard such as this violet. These flowers always brings memories of our kids picking cups of these flowers to be used in making violet jelly.

Phlox (below) is blooming along with Spring Beauties, Cut-leaf tooth wort, and squaw weed along our creek bank.

Judy and I are so impressed with Japanese Karia. This plant blooms throughout the summer.

Another flower that many think is an undesirable critter actually is a beauty. The dandelion is very interesting in a close-up view. Enjoy!
