Veterans Day

This morning has been a time of reflection. I was thinking about all the kids that have died in the plethora of wars that our planet has endured. If you look at the causality lists, it is obvious that the majority of the men and women who died were in their teens and early twenties. Our thanks and sincere appreciation go out to the men and women who have and are currently serving in the Armed Forces.

My Dad was in the Navy and served during World War II. I was born one year after World War II ended in 1945. Dad did not talk about his war experiences and am certain this is not an uncommon event.
