An Early Visitor
On Tuesday (22nd) we arrived at Jeff and Sarah's abode to celebrate the Christmas holiday. The trees were decorated and Grandma had made cookies. She is becoming quite the cookie lady. She enjoys icing the sugar cookies for the holiday.
Peanut butter blossoms were ready!
Judy even tried new recipes, such as the swiss sandwich cookies below. They are delicious!
John, Rachael, Flora, and Lucy also arrived on Tuesday from Shepherdstown.

The neighborhood kids came over to see the Christmas decorations. WAIT! There was a knock on the door. To their surprise, Santa stopped by early. He was making a trial run to assure that his Christmas eve schedule would go smoothly.
Santa gave the kids candy canes and listened to their gift requests. Sam asked Santa for a train set.
Grandma was trying to speak "Baby" so she could relay Nate's wishes to Mr. Santa!
This was , indeed, a special time for everyone.

Special even for Sarah and Jeff! Thanks Santa for stopping by Bridgeport before Christmas.
The next day (Wednesday) was the time to celebrate our family Christmas and share gifts. Grandma Great Meads, Aunt Judy, Uncle Bill, and Diana would join us for our luncheon. Tomorrow - the MEAL!
