Friday Night At The Craft Show

Last evening and extending through today, the Glenville Best Western is the site of an arts and crafts show. Many local crafters are exhibiting their wares. The award winning wine below comes from Jones Cabin Run Vineyards here in Gilmer County.

The winery is operated by Alan and Elaine Wolfe. If you are interested in their fine selection of wines, their email is
jcrv@rtol.net. Their mailing address is 523 Jones Cabin Run Road in Tanner, WV 26137.

This couple have worked hard planting their Gilmer County vineyards and making their wine very successful.

Judy had to participate in the wine tasting. (OK- so did I!) Judy decided on purchasing a bottle of elderberry wine.

Stan and Paula Mazzagotte own Goldmakers. (
http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=goldmakers) Stan and Paula provide quality jewelry and have a great selection.

The sisters below are very special. Caroline Cusick and Maxine Smith help out with the Goldmakers display. Paula is one of Maxine's daughters.

Our neighbor, Ruth Chisler, is an expert quilter and sewing artisan. She has in her display quilts, wall hangings, purses, and a variety of other fine items.

Below is Michelle Toman who is an accomplished painter. Michelle is taking a break and checking out the jewelry in the catalog.

Sue Papouscheck is our hard working Avon representative. A great variety of Avon sre on display in this area. Sue can make you look good and smell wonderful! She also has some necklaces for sell.

Sandy Pettit is in charge of making the craft show happen this weekend. This lady is a fantastic organizer.

Tammy Hough is enjoying the candle scents. I also love these delightful olfactory treats. I really wanted to buy the double expresso candle, but thought I had best pass on this purchase. (Oh, it was hard!)

There was food everywhere. Kim Cottrill made some goodies for all to sample and she was selling these gourmet packages.

Even the Glenville Womens Club had a display.

Sadie Kelble is surrounded by more exhibiters. There were many other displays which included Pampered Chef, country primitives, flower arrangement, and even QVC!

What - a bass fiddle!! Ok- the bass means that in the lobby there must be bluegrass music being played.

Anna James, on the bass, and her family provided a great sound.

Sue Edwards, on the fiddle, is a fun lady who makes the fiddle sing.

It was a fine arts and crafts show and was really fun to see folks coming together to share in the evening activities.
