Fall at the Market

This weekend we attended Rachael’s Appalachian Festival in Shepherdstown. It is always a fun time to visit family and to experience the hamlet of Shepherdstown. You may like to travel to the Appalachian Heritage Festival at Shepherd University by clicking on the link below.

Each Sunday morning from April to December, the street behind the Shepherdstown Public Library is closed and the Farmer’s Market materializes. The market was established in 1992 and it is a great opportunity to get fresh herbs, bread, produce, and newly cut flowers. Yesterday, son-in-law John and I walked to the market which is a block from their house. I thought you would enjoy some views of the Sunday morning shopping experience.
