Farmers Market
May 29, 2010

What a beautiful day it was on Saturday at the Farmers Market! The Cole's were there with their flowers and other wonderful plants. It is so nice to see the fine turnout of folks at this event. The president of the historical society is was there with her books and canned foods. Mrs. Reed makes wonderful cinnamon pickles. You will notice an old-time treat on the table - ammonia cookies.

Deb Martzall-Farmer is busy working at her spinning wheel. She is producing yarn from the wool of her Coopworth sheep. If you like lamb, she produces fine gourmet lamb meat for your table.

Here are my two Memorial Day gals.

Grandma Great was talking with our good friend, Judy Steele.

Mary Ann Risley and her daughter were also enjoying the market. Mary Ann's daughter lives in the mid-west so they were having a great family visit this holiday.

I shall close this blog with a few more shots of the Saturday market.

Tomorrow is the big birthday celebration for Sammy at the Valley World of Fun in Fairmont.
