Isle of Palms - The Atlantic

The island's original inhabitants were the Seewee Native American tribe. Supposedly, they greeted the first English to arrive on the island by swimming out to their ships and escorting them back to the island.

During our week on the Isle of Palms, the temperatures were in the 60's and the wind was vigorous. We were cold when we visited the beach. I hope the Seewee greeted the English during a hot humid day in August!

The waves are always a joy to kids. Sammy is no exception.

Here is Sammy with his developing new brother.
