Fishing At Watoga Lake

Grandpa bought Flora a surprise - a high quality "Barbie" fishing pole so she could go fishing. Man, she surprisingly fast became good at casting her line. She was so excited so on Wednesday we went to Watoga Lake to try our luck at fishing. Here is Mom and Flora sitting on the dock.

Here first catch was this red spotted newt. It clamped onto the worm and would not let loose. Flora was sooooo proud!

Flora continued fishing but did not catch another critter.

Her new-found friends at the lake did manage to catch a trout and a bluegill.

I did hook a small bluegill. The other kids captured larger fish, but I am certain that Flora was proud of her Grandpa's catch!

This ends our Seebert adventure of last week. We are blessed to be able to share with our children and grandkids experiences that are so joyful.
