Parade on the Royal Promonade!
While on the Navigator of the Seas, the staff presented two parades that traveled down the street of the Royal Promonade.
As with all the other activities on the ship, the parade was organized and so professional. At 11:15 PM the special tapes appeared and quickly contained the viewers on the sides of the promonade. This provided the street area to be free to allow the parade to flow.
Judy and I watched the first parade and were amazed at the costuming and music. This parade was the first of the week and presented representatives of all the staff areas on the ship. After the staff marched through the promonade, then came the tribute to King Neptune and the Critters (that is my term) of the Sea!
Following are photos taken of the tribute to King Neptune.
It was truely amazing to see the stilt walkers in their costumes. They were not only walking high above the crowd, but walking on a marble tile floor!
